It’s so wrong it may be right.

From Corey Holms – Lost in Translation:
This movie captivated me to no end. Not for a minute do I think I’ll forget the experience I had the first time I saw it in the theatre.
In a decade+ of movies, it seemed as though we had reached the point where the trailer was far better than the movie.
District 9 was the opposite. The trailer was just a peek. It gave nothing away and influenced the realism of the viewing experience.
See this movie. Not sensational, or overdone, perhaps perfectly executed … Sci-fi or not, this was a diamond in the ruff.
+1
While I was seeing MOON, I saw this trailer. I’m not into horror flicks, but this looks damn good.
Today I bought a new skateboard. A board with art fom the “Where The Wild Things Are” movie coming out soon. Skating again after 12 years of ignoring it was a real blast.
The older I get the more I realize how easy it is to forget to have fun.

but, it’s NaBloPoMo. so, i’ve got to say something: that mexican food was not good. in contrast, the movie “MOON,” which I’m seeing tomorrow, looks really good.
and if it’s not, the website is really really nice… it even validates.

I found this somewhere and can not remember where. I’m sorry.
Zombie Strippers! [trailer] An advertisement on the back of the actually pretty good comic book release, Jenna Jameson’s Shadow Hunter (seriously, it’s not bad, maybe even good), advertised a non porn film, starring Jenna Jameson, titled Zombie Strippers!

Ah, yes, thank you! Another person who is absolutely fascinated by this movie.
I cannot even tell what it is, I couldn’t say why I like it that much, what makes it so special. I don’t know. I don’t understand, why it takes such a grip of me every time, damn! But I even cry tears when I watch it — and I’m a guy, for fuck’s sake! Because it is THAT good. Sofia Coppola has done a GREAT job with this one. Probably her best ever.
Would it work with other actors? No! Absolutely not. These two, Johansson and Murray, make a perfect match here. It’s great casting! In fact, Coppola said she wanted Murray for it and wouldn’t have shot it if he had said ‘No’.
And, ah, yes, since I’ve seen Lost in Translation I’m forever in love with Scarlett Johansson. Bummer. Bummer, because I fear she’ll never ever be that good in a movie so perfect. Alas, she’s young, so there’s hope.
