The new minimalist “signature series” designs for the Harry Potter books are beautiful. Here’s my favorite.

Although, I really love these M. S. Corley redesigned versions. Too bad they didn’t get picked up by Bloomsbury.

David Pogue. writing in the New York Times, reported that hundreds of customers awoke to find that Amazon remotely deleted books that they’d earlier bought and downloaded. Apparently, the publisher determined that it should not offer those titles, so Amazon logged into Kindles, erased the books, and issued refunds. This was aptly compared to someone sneaking into your house, taking away your books, and leaving a stack of cash on the table.

That George Orwell’s Nineteen Eighty-Four and Animal Farm were among the wiped books is so funny that it aches. The headlines across the ‘net wrote themselves. Down the memory hole!

It was written by Vince Aletti, who was the first person to cover the NYC disco scene. This is his memoir, and it contains stories, charts & photos. The charts are from clubs all over the world from regional djs of the day. At 484 pages long, this is no joke Its a must for anyone who is a fan of Italians or dance music in general. A great book to learn from. Seriously, ive been waiting for this for years Thank our friends at djhistory.com for this one… It is imported from the UK so it is slightly more expensive but it is worth every penny. Plus you are supporting a micro indie label with a huge undertaking which is this book.
